“Clash of the Titans,” released in 2010, is a fantasy adventure film directed by Louis Leterrier. It is a remake of the 1981 film of the same name and is loosely based on the Greek myth of Perseus and his quest to defeat the monstrous Kraken.
The story follows Perseus (played by Sam Worthington), a demigod and the son of Zeus, who is caught in a power struggle between the gods of Mount Olympus and the mortal city of Argos. When King Acrisius of Argos defies the gods, including Zeus (played by Liam Neeson) and his brother Hades (played by Ralph Fiennes), Hades enacts revenge by unleashing the fearsome Kraken to destroy the city.

To save Argos and its princess, Andromeda (played by Alexa Davalos), Perseus embarks on a perilous journey. Alongside a group of brave warriors and allies, including Io (played by Gemma Arterton) and the skilled fighter Draco (played by Mads Mikkelsen), Perseus must confront various mythical creatures and challenges. His ultimate goal is to obtain the legendary weapon, the Gorgon’s head of Medusa, whose gaze can turn any living creature into stone. With Medusa’s head, Perseus plans to defeat the Kraken and save his people.
