Nosferatu (2024)
Nosferatu is a horror film directed by Robert Eggers, inspired by the classic 1922 silent film of the same name. Set in 19th century Germany, the story follows Thomas Hutter (played by Willem Dafoe), a real estate agent sent to Transylvania to finalize a property sale with the mysterious Count Orlok (played by Anya Taylor-Joy).
As Hutter travels to Orlok’s castle, he encounters eerie locals who warn him of the Count’s supernatural powers and sinister intentions. Upon meeting Orlok, Hutter is both fascinated and repelled by the vampire’s otherworldly presence and thirst for blood. As the days pass, Hutter becomes increasingly trapped in Orlok’s castle, witnessing the Count’s deadly influence on the local town and fearing for his own life.
