Imhotep’s resurrection triggers a series of otherworldly plagues across Egypt as he sets out to reclaim his full strength and resurrect Anck-su-Namun.

As Imhotep’s power increases, Rick, Evelyn, and Jonathan must race against time to thwart the reanimated mummy before he can cast the world into darkness. They receive help from Ardeth Bay (Oded Fehr), a warrior from the Medjai, an ancient group sworn to stop Imhotep’s return.

The Mummy is renowned for its exhilarating set pieces, such as the sandstorm pursuit and the climactic showdown in the temple, as well as its masterful use of CGI to bring the mummy and the supernatural elements to life.
